R/C Technique 02/2001Three words could describe this issue: No New Things!. However, its no harm to see the colorful ads. Futaba/OSThis month, both Futaba and OS joined force and put their products together in their ads. Will there be possible take over or merger into one company? Click to view Futaba/OS 02/2001 ad. HiroboThe golden ad of Hirobo once again showed their new flagship machine, the Eagle 99 WC DTDS, and their best seller, The Eagle Freya. Click to view Hirobo 02/2001 ad. JR Helicopter Division JR featured their new F3C contest fuselage, the Galaxy, which debut in the September 2000 Tokyo Hobby Fair. The Galaxy, due to replace the Scorpion, is designed specially to conform with the new F3C rules due to enact in 2002. Actually, the Galaxy looks very much like the Scorpion with a lower extension to encase the whole mechanics. There is a 50 size Galaxy fuselage that fit the Voyager 50, and another that fit Ergo 60 or Superio. Together with the Galaxy, JR also released the limited edition Superio Katsuyuki Special with the Galaxy fuselage. Click to view JR Helicopter Division 02/2001 ad.
