My list of helicopters updated

Added "Caliber 30 review" page

Hi guys!

I have to apologize for not updating this site to most wishes.... However, I am still making myself available through e-mails to answer your questions, and answering e-mails from fellow pilots around the world still makes the highlight of my everyday's life.

One guy once asked me the question whether I am a dealer or not. I have answered this question many times, and once and for the final time I would answer this again - The answer is NO. I do not have a shop, and in fact too scared to start up a shop again, period. Although sometimes I have helped some people around the world obtain some parts that they see in my site and they could not buy them anywhere. I did that not for making a profit, but to help. I have once co-own a helicopter shop with somebody and it remains the single regret for my life...

I did not fly turbines for quite some time, due to the shutdown of the local field. However, I am still into 1/8 nitro on-road cars. Like my helicopters I have more cars in the box than on the road....

Ratings:

Best first helicopter -

Hirobo Sceadu and Kyosho Caliber 30 - Its a tie! Both have their good and bad.

Please note the above are all personal opinions with no flames intended!

Crooks update:

Still looking for Mike Ellis and Royce Brademan. As to the biggest crook that I happen to met in my life, I still believe justice would serve on him....

Under construction helicopter review pages in the pipeline and their progress:

  1. Hirobo Eagle Freya CCPM review - My Freyas have been with me for some time now, want to know what happened with them?
  2. Hirobo Sceadu revisited - How about a conversion of push-pull on all collective control?
  3. Hirobo Freya WC review
  4. Hirobo AS365 Dauphin review
  5. Kyosho Caliber 60 revisited - Near finish
My current projects are:
  1. Testing Hirobo's 36 engine prototype
  2. Testing some "top secret" fuselage

The above are something that I am doing besides building the long piled up kits of mine.

My helicopter related travel schedule for 2003 (subject to change):

May 2003 - Shizuoka Hobby Fair

May 2003 - World Championship in Noto, Japan

Oct. 2003 - Beijing Hobby Show

Oct. 2003 - Tokyo Hobby Fair

Nov. 2003 - Hirobo Cup Final 2002

My travel list for helicopter is getting shorter for next year, but who knows....

In the mean time, since it would take time for me to write my pages, if you have any questions/comments/suggestions please do not hesitate to contact me by e-mail at jason@mail.infoease.com

Regards,
